We are a no-rush, gentle and compassion salon, built on the comfort of our dog clients.
We promise to not push your pet over their threshold, to take pride in how we handle them, and to know when to say no more. We understand some pet parents want their dog groomed fully in a nice, neat time span. If that's you, we are not the salon for you. We want each pet that comes in to want to return, to have a positive and wholesome experience, knowing they are safe with us. We will always make our best effort safely to complete the groom, but when a dog becomes too stressed, they begin to lash out. At this point it becomes no longer safe. We will stop the groom fully and send home, or skip the part that the pet is afraid of and only practice some desensitization exercises with them to work them towards accomplishing the scary thing in the future once it is in a more positive light to the pet.

Homey Environment
Update: Over the next year, we will be moving to a new location on the same property - if you've been by, it's the green building! - just getting the salon out of the house and into it's own space to ensure an even quieter, calmer environment with a dog potty area and a check in \ check out counter, and even a customer restroom. We hope to have a walk-in tub for the larger and/or older dogs and a sturdy elevated tub for the smaller dogs.
Our quiet, calm, home environment is soothing to pets who don't enjoy the loudness and busy-ness of some grooming salons. The space allows for the pet to roam on the floor for breaks when needed, and for play while we wait for pick up after the groom.
We offer potty breaks before and after grooms within our huge fenced in yard.
Water is always available and for clients who give permission to give treats, we have an array of healthy and low calorie options from salmon, beef, turkey, chicken, rabbit, peanut butter and bacon-flavored.
All grooms are recorded, from initial in-room pre-work where the groomer looks over the dog and gauges their comfort levels with touch and tools, to the tub, drying, and post-bath work.
If the groomer finds anything concerning, photos are taken and the client is alerted of the issue. This included skin issues, sores, bumps and lumps, fleas and ticks.

Deshedding Services
One of our favorite services is a good thorough deshed! Got a lab or pittie, or a thicker coated dog like an aussie, husky, or sheltie? Did you know the overabundance of coat can make it hard for them to regulate their temperature? We can help. We use high quality products that loosen up the under coat and / or compacted coat, blow it out with a high velocity dryer, and use multiple tools to help release what is left. We ensure to use tools that won't break your pets hair, too.

Puppy Sessions
Grooming can be scary at first!
We offer puppy desensitization sessions over 3 to 4 weeks to familiarize puppy (over 10 weeks old, under 18wks) with grooming tools and processes.
We take it slow and easy to keep them comfortable so they can learn to enjoy coming to the groomer for their spa day!
These start with simple bath and tidy sessions and work up to full service grooms that can include a haircut by the final "puppy" session if puppy is a haircut breed.

Senior Comfort Grooms
When you have an elderly dog, they still need grooming to help them feel and look their best, so they can be clean and to relieve joint pain in the feet that long nails can cause.
We offer comfort grooming - meaning we do as complete of a groom as safely possible. We don't guarantee perfection, but we do promise to take the best care possible to help them feel great.
